Job Summary 

Payless Floors is seeking a customer focused and operationally adept Sales Person for one of our retail flooring stores in Eastern MA. The successful candidate will be driven to develop and implement customer service practices and processes which provide superior customer experiences to the client base.  

The Sales person is responsible for  maintaining this store's showroom, motivating the customer and ensuring customers receive professional, timely, and accurate information and support with regard to the Company’s product and service offerings. Responsibilities include direct contact, telephone calls, emails, managing the processing of orders, and handling customer inquiries. 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Effectively help the customer service team by incorporating best practices and fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Create a positive environment with our customers.  
  • Work closely with our Systems and Operation staff to improve processes and efficiencies.
  • Provide administrative support for sales activities such as processing customer’s orders, order status, supplying product information, supplying price quotations, and related activities.
  • Ability to lift parcels from 10-75lbs. if needed.

Education and Qualifications

  • Minimum High School diploma, Associates degree or higher a plus.  
  • Experience within the flooring industry a plus but with the right individual we can train.
  • High degree of communication skills a must
  • Ability to quickly learn.
